This is my proposal for the Alphabet assignment. It is meant as a booklet, that is the reason why I show them as spreads instead of page by page. I created all of the design elements using typography and lines. The types used are Century Gothic for most of the text and design elements, and Garamond when needed for samples of typographic elements in the text body.
I think these look really great! I really like the design you have on each page, which ties it together nicely. I also like the alternating styles on the pages, also a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteI really like the fading effect on the first two designs but I am not sure I love it on the red composition. I would suggest taking that fade out that it going on through the whole page and keep it only in your design in the corners like the other blue ones.
Over all great job, excited to see more.
Nice use of fonts and colors, would like to see a bit more of the negative space filled though! Design wise it looks wonderful but it reads a bit confusing.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above comments. I also think that the book would be more successful in a square format. Otherwise, the amount of negative space is overpowering to the content. Overall, great job!
